1. Sign Up with PayPal  

You can register with PayPal free via www.paypal.com.au .  Select 'Business Account' type as this will give you access to PayPal's Shopping Cart and Payment services.

PayPal Fees: There are no fees to use PayPal's services, however you do a pay a transaction fee only when you make a sale online using their payment gateway. See PayPal website for fees. Account Setup & Verification: You are required to enter your business details including bank account for deposits. You will be prompted to verify by PayPal.

2. Creating your PayPal Buttons

Now that your account is setup and verified you can start adding buttons to your website and accepting credit card payments. You can easily create new buttons within PayPal's site, and you can also edit your Saved Buttons. 

By editing the button in PayPal, E.g. changing the price, means you don't have to re-insert the button into your page again as the changes are made in PayPal.

PayPal Button types:

  [Buy Now] ... visitors can only buy one item
   [Add to Cart] ... visitors can buy multiple items
  [Subscribe] ... for monthly billing & deliveries
  [Donate] ... nominate an amount to pay
  [Gift Voucher] ... for gift vouchers

Button HTML Code:  After completing the 'Create a Button' page optons you will be presented with a paragraph of HTML or website code.  YOu will need to insert this piece of code inside your website. We provide training on how to do this yourself. Watch the video below.

PayPal has a postage or delivery fee calculator service that lets you set your delivery fees.  You can set a delivery fee based on the total order value.  Delivery Fees can be set according to price brackets or as a % of the order value.

E.g. if order under $50 apply a $7.50 delivery fee ... if order between $50-$100 apply a $12.00 delivery fee etc.
